US Military "assumes" Iran bomb in 5-8 years

"The U.S. military is operating under the assumption that Iran is five to eight years away from being able to build its first nuclear weapon, a time span that explains a general lack of urgency within the Bush administration to use air strikes to disable Tehran's atomic program."

So in other words... the Bush administration is going to hand off the problem to their successors... that's Leadership! Bah.

If there is a poor man among your brothers in any of the towns of the land that the LORD your God is giving you, do not be hardhearted or tightfisted toward your poor brother. Rather be openhanded and freely lend him whatever he needs.

Tuesday, August 29, 2006

What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don't they come from your desires that battle within you? You want something but don't get it. You kill and covet, but you cannot have what you want. You quarrel and fight. You do not have, because you do not ask God. When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.

James 4:1-3 (NIV)

It's Official.....the President Bush admin endorses Iranian regime

Or something very close...

Khatami coming to a city near you...... because we cannot even deny a visa to a former "president" of the leading terror sponsor in the world.

Some "War on Terror" huh....

NO sympathy for the Bush administration from here out, their "Foggy Bottom correctness" is beyond apalling.

In Farsi, on Persian tv, away from the UN... the real man.....

"In the Qur'an, God commanded to kill the wicked and those who do not see the rights of the oppressed… If we abide by human laws, we should mobilize the whole Islamic World for a sharp confrontation with the Zionist regime… If we abide by the Qur'an, all of use should mobilize to kill."

A dialogue of civilizations??? hardly... Deny him a visa? Certainly!...

Ex-Iranian Prez to visit Washington National Cathedral????

In the middle of a world crisis with a holocaust denying , terrorism sponsoring regime? President Bush has lost his cajones.........

Yeah... and it wasn't a "Prez" from the Shah years. Mohammed Khatami the reprehensible "smiling face" of the regime or the "good cop" is intent on coming 3 days before our 5 year anniversary of 9-11 and speaking in DC. And the State Department and the White House and the Bush admin and President Bush has NOTHING to say about it?

Grant him a visa, admit your dhimmi status State Department, you fools.....

Dorkballah says the war was a "mistake"

"Hezbollah leader Sheik Hassan Nasrallah said yesterday that he would not have ordered the July 12 seizure of two Israeli soldiers had he known it would provoke a war that leveled Shi'ite villages and neighborhoods throughout Lebanon."

So maybe, they're not as victorious as thought?

Ever "Diverse" Georgetown U bans Protestant groups......

Whu? Then what about Islamic studies? hmmm

"Georgetown University has banned outside Protestant ministries from holding on-campus events and using the school's name, prompting group leaders to question whether the prestigious Catholic school is restricting religious choice.

"All we're wanting is diversity," said Kevin Offner, a staff leader for InterVarsity Graduate Christian Fellowship. "We're simply saying, 'Can't we worship and conduct our meetings in a way appropriate to our tradition?' And it feels like [Georgetown is] saying 'no.' "

Where's the tolerance? Me thinks it reeks of "we're banning them because they require group leaders to be Christians". Aye
It's Talent's fault for 2.70$ gasoline? Ha...

"A 2004 Bush voter, now Mr. Wilbers isn't so sure. After observing Mr. Talent earlier this month at the Governor's Ham Breakfast at the Missouri State Fair, he said he is likely to base his vote on the price of gas come Nov. 7.

Mr. Talent, who won his Senate seat in a 2002 special election, is in tune with that sentiment. "This is an election where they sense that the Washington establishment is alienated from them, and they are right," he said. "They want people who will move that establishment. The question is: Are you going to make the system work for their values and their interests?"

Iran ready for some "super serious" negotiations

"Iran said yesterday that it was ready for "serious negotiations" over its disputed nuclear programs, but showed no sign it accepted the Bush administration's bottom-line demand to halt all uranium enrichment before any talks can begin."

Sure.....bwhahaha, the delay that they want is most certainly conceded to. There will NEVER be "sanctions" on the Khomeninist regime. Never. Never will they pay a price. It's like that "magic green glow" that Mahmoud Ahmenijad said was over his head during his speech to the United Nations, it seems to be flowing over there regime and I don't get it...

"You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men. You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven."

"Lebanon's defense minister said yesterday that he is certain Hezbollah will not break the cease-fire, but warned all militant groups of harsh measures and a traitor's fate if they incite Israeli retaliation by firing rockets into the Jewish state."

I'm sure they're fact why should they worry? The international community hasn't and will not condemn the hezbozos so why should the terror organ trouble themselves over what Lebanon says?

Candidates target SW Missouri

"In an earlier day, politicians went to Missouri's two largest cities, St. Louis and Kansas City, hoping for majorities. Later, they went to the suburbs shopping for votes. Today, statewide candidates like Springfield.

Weigh this against some historical thinking. In the deepest red corner of a most recently red state, Democrats usually conceded Southwest Missouri while Republicans took it for granted."

Olmert government reels after reports of incompetent planning

"Soldiers returning from the war in Lebanon say the Israeli army was slow to rescue wounded comrades and suffered from a lack of supplies so dire they had to drink water from the canteens of dead Hezbollah guerrillas.

"We fought for nothing. We cleared houses that will be reoccupied in no time," said Ilia Marshak, a 22-year-old infantryman who spent a week in Lebanon."

Look for his government to face the voters and rightly so. The funny thing about Olmert IS THAT during the height of the war, HE was calling for the West Bank "pullout"... Okay, lets add a 3rd front to the war!

Turkey moves more toward Arab world

"Turkey's moves to increase economic ties with the Persian Gulf countries are seen by diplomats as yet another indication of Ankara's waning enthusiasm for the European Union.

Some Turkish analysts feel that in view of the slow pace of accession talks with the European Union, Turkey's interests would be better served by improved relations with the Arab countries of the Middle East, an area for centuries ruled by Ottoman sultans."

In a world where secular, moderate muslim countries are sooooo rare, then why is it Europe is driving Turkey away? Shouldn't Turkey be given the carrots.....NOT Iran!!!!

Becasuse Islamists threaten violence....Oh God of the heavens help us. I find it absolutely amazing that the UN would allow such threats to religious tolerance. Therefore I do not run like a man running aimlessly; I do not fight like a man beating the air. No, I beat my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.

Club Gitmo is full of "not nice" people

"The prisoners held at Guantanamo Bay during the war on terror have attacked their military guards hundreds of times, turning broken toilet parts, utensils and radios into makeshift weapons, Pentagon reports say.

Incident reports reviewed by the Associated Press indicate Military Police guards are routinely head-butted, spat upon and doused by "cocktails" of feces, urine, vomit and semen collected in meal cups by the prisoners."
