Congrats to the Gateway City on the big win for Missouri. Now to the even bigger victory for Jim Talent!
"It's hard to explain, really, how a St. Louis Cardinals ballclub that by all rights shouldn't have even been playing in the first week of October (let alone the last) stormed the Busch Stadium infield last night in celebration of the franchise's first title in 24 years."

"It's not for the casual traveler. But if you are up for an adventure in a place that boasts peace, democracy and an experienced security force, a California marketing firm has a suggestion: Kurdistan.
"It has always been a tourist destination for Iraq and other parts of the Middle East," said Sal Russo, whose Sacramento, Calif., firm helped the Kurdistan Development Corp. create a television ad campaign for the autonomous three-province Kurdish region in northern Iraq, which is sometimes called Kurdistan. "Westerners walk around freely, and there is an active nightlife."

October 24, 1981 "The Dark Night of the Scarecrow" aired on network television. I only write this because I remember watching as a 5 year old youth. Creepy movie... and it makes me feel a bit older thinking... 25 years ago seems like yesterday
MORE about the movie.
"Senate Republicans with enormous campaign war chests are refusing to transfer significant amounts of money to help fellow Republicans who are cash-strapped and face defeat in the final weeks of the campaign."
Shame on the senators who won't help their fellow Republicans. Question.... how much money was thrown into the defeat of Laffey in Rhode Island????

Gateway Pundit reveals how CNN makes certain to block out any of the muhammed cartoons and hides nothing in the viley anti-semitic cartoons from the Middle East. Could it be that they don't fear Jewish violence?.... Cowards!
"Two Republican senators, including the chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee, yesterday called for direct U.S.-North Korea talks over Pyongyang's nuclear program."
Look, we no doubt MUST take the lead. We seem to be sitting on the sidelines now for too many things. BUT, I do find it interesting that the SAME people who called for an end to unilateralism are calling for unilateralism. But I think, Bush must lead us, because the world will do what it always does... surrender.

"The White House yesterday rejected partitioning Iraq into three sections based on ethnicity and religion and took issue with reports that President Bush now views the 3-1/2-year-old Iraq war as similar to the war in Vietnam."
These "partition-rights" activists need to be more clear... either they think we are colonizers or we are colonizers. Did we become the British empire... where we create "countries" out of the dust?

and the McCaskill campaign is leading the way with their ACORN volunteers. Gateway Pundit is monitoring the situation.
Looks like voter fraud is the modus operendus. Registering voters while telling them who to vote for.
I know that no one is suprised, but it still is darn frustrating.

John 14:21 (NIV)
to................. vote! Aha! Sooo, why don't we eliminate any form of identification... obviously it places an unfair burden on people (deemed incapable of doing so...?) to drive an automobile, enter a drinking establishment, buy cigarettes... buy cigarettes!!!!.
Burdens.... let the voter fraud begin! St. Louis are you ready?
They struck down the Missouri law by 6-1 margin.
"The same Democratic leaders who have long hoped to regain control of Congress by blasting a Republican "culture of corruption" are in danger of losing their shot at the Senate because of accusations of corruption against Sen. Robert Menendez."
I have some terrific New Jersey Wilderness for you if you think that the GOP has a chance this side of corruptionlandia of winning the New Jersey seat.. Fugget about it! (Actually there is some quasi-wilderness in New Jersey, the New Jersey Pine Barrens...)

Romans 2:21-23 (NIV)
Gateway Pundit lays out the case, that she is one mixed up lackey. In fact I find one of her recent radio commercials to be quite quite humorous... basically it accuses Talent of calling her "names"... like exposing her liberal views..
Doesn't it crack you up to realize that she calls Talent a "false patriot" and he merely points out her as a "liberal"... and Talent is the name caller?
"Former President Bill Clinton told Iowa Democrats that they should appeal to disaffected Republican voters in their efforts to win control of Congress. "We've got a big responsibility. Forget about 2008. Forget about the politics. Just go out and find somebody and look them dead in the eye and say, 'You know, this is not right,'?"
What's "not right".... making corrupt politicos resign? Although it is true that the GOP leadership in the house was beyond inept in dealing with Foley.. they did force him to quit. Soooo Clinton... you tell me what's "right and wrong"... We DON'T want to hear anything from you regarding us the "values voters"... Clear enough?

Acts 4:13 (NIV)
Here we go again... the sanctions route.
"The resolution bans the import or export of material and equipment that could be used to make nuclear weapons or ballistic missiles. It orders all countries to freeze the assets and ban travel for anyone engaged in supporting North Korea's weapons programs."
I smell "success" in the air.

in hopes that they might reciprocate? Keep on waiting.... North Korea will be further and further along with their nuclear ambitions. Suckas.
"The United States yesterday watered down elements of its U.N. Security Council condemnation of North Korea to win crucial support from Russia and China, but appeared unlikely to get the vote it is seeking by today.
Washington wants a tough rebuke this week of Pyongyang's announcement of a nuclear test, as well as legally binding measures to close down the communist state's access to nuclear and military materiel and illicit sources of funding."
Face it... the Bush "doctrine" is dead.... nuclear weapons are no problem for the Axis of evil
Oh yeah and why are we playing nice with a regime like China... who hunts Tibetans like animals. God help the Tibetan people... more at Gateway Pundit.

That darn suburb of ours to the north! Voter Registration goes awry? Or was there some malevolent intent happening with the ACORN grassrooters.
Looks like Gateway Pundit is rooting it out, check it out HERE

Deception is being perpetrated upon the people of Missouri. An anti-cloning bill is actually a cloning bill.....
Be not deceived, people are not a means to an end!
CMM urges you to vote NO on Amendment 2
"Immigration is a dominant issue in congressional races from Arizona to Michigan to Pennsylvania -- just about everywhere but where President Bush is on the campaign trail.
After having pressed all year to get a broad immigration bill, including legal status for illegal aliens from Congress, Mr. Bush now ignores the issue at campaign events and fundraisers, and Vice President Dick Cheney has even dropped what used to be a regular reference to immigration from his campaign stump speech."
III Captain, its the triple I, Ignore Illegal Immigration... and maybe it will go away?

Something about she wouldn't allow her daughter anywhere near him... Funny, she gladly had him campaign for her. Ungrateful.
"A few of Alaska's native villages are refusing free heating oil from the petroleum company controlled by Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, based on the patriotic principle that no foreigner has the right to call their president "the devil."
"As a citizen of this country, you can have your own opinion of our president and our country. But I don't want a foreigner coming in here and bashing us," said Justine Gunderson, administrator for the tribal council in the Aleut village of Nelson Lagoon."
How do you like that Chavie? Keep it! Oh yeah, Boycott CITGO
"U.S. intelligence agencies say, based on preliminary indications, that North Korea did not produce its first nuclear blast yesterday.
U.S. officials, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said that seismic readings show that the conventional high explosives used to create a chain reaction in a plutonium-based device went off, but that the blast's readings were shy of a typical nuclear detonation."
Tell me... what is our "intelligence" actually worth? And why should we believe it? Show me!

John 3:16 (NIV)
A CMM Editorial
What is to be done? Those outside of the administration demand "talking, dialogue, one on one talks. talks. talks". Bush isn't a talker (thankfully), but what is to be done? Clark Mountain Musings demands a policy. The Bush administration has yet to exercise a policy on North Korea or Iran.
Errr wait a tick, the Bush administration HAS set a policy, it occured in the 2002 State of the Union address when President Bush promised that rogue states will not acquire weapons of mass destruction.... err. Looks like that promise has went by the wayside, with a 4.2 earthquake in the Korean peninsula.
Time of the Bush administration to reassess and take action, because the UN's idea is to send a "very angry letter"....
What a suprise... the proletariat don't prefer their "comrad" as much as the left-coasts of America do. Mass protests rip the Venezuelan capital... Oh just another invention by those capitalist swine... eh Comrad Chavie?
MORE at St. Louis' own Gateway Pundit.
Let the people have their say ye "man of the people" Chavez. CMM proudly endorses the CIA-coup attempt in Venezuela ;-)
"On the other hand, the template of American foreign policy seems to dictate that we be saved by our enemies, and rarely through our own brilliance. It may seem paradoxical that our best hope lies with the fanatics in Tehran, but there you have it."
Seems like this whole "war on terror" thingy is definitely getting off the reservation. The likes of Nicholas Burns seek "stability" in the name of "security". Michael Ledeen is SOOOOOOO "write" on.
"Missouri Sen. Jim Talent tried to distance himself from President Bush yesterday in a nationally televised debate, during which he and his Democratic opponent, Claire McCaskill, argued over Iraq and stem-cell research."
It's like, they make it seem as though Talent is running against President Bush... NOooooo, it's actually the liberal, pro-abortion politician he opposes.

After a 38-21 win over Texas Tech in Lubbock, the Missouri Tigers now stand at 6-0 with a date looming at College Station, Texas. One game at a time, this season is looking great. Kansas lost yesterday, Missouri dominated, Missouri Western won, Northwest Missouri State won.
This season is not over, but I'm sure Oklahoma is sweating... they will arrive for Missouri's homecoming

"I think I could have given some good advice here, which is you have to be curious, you have to ask all the questions you can think of," Majority Whip Roy Blunt of Missouri said yesterday about his party's muted handling of "over-friendly" e-mails that Mr. Foley wrote to former congressional pages. "
Interesting.... Why didn't you offer that "good advice" say about 5 or 6 months ago? Time for a cleanup of leadership after the election. Sorry Blunt, you were in the leadership and you did nothing earlier.

Foggy Bottoms "confident" that Russia and China will join them against Iran....
"The United States is confident that Russia and China will join it in pushing for U.N. sanctions against Iran if it does not agree to suspend enriching uranium this week, a senior U.S. official said yesterday.
"For four months now, we've been waiting for an answer," Mr. Burns told editors and reporters at a luncheon at The Washington Times. "We've said, if they don't suspend enrichment, we'll take them to the Security Council and sanction them. We do believe we have Russian and Chinese support for that."
Sure.... bwhaahahaha. The US State Department is a whole lot of suckas. Burns "believes" that Russia and China will support... "believe"?
Myself, I have ZERO faith in Moscow or Beijing... for crying out loud... its their technology the Iranian regime is usings. Suckas!
"Red flags emerged in late 2005, perhaps even earlier, in suggestive and wholly inappropriate e-mail messages to underage congressional pages
House Speaker Dennis Hastert must do the only right thing, and resign his speakership at once. Either he was grossly negligent for not taking the red flags fully into account and ordering a swift investigation, for not even remembering the order of events leading up to last week's revelations -- or he deliberately looked the other way in hopes that a brewing scandal would simply blow away.
He gave phony answers Friday to the old and ever-relevant questions of what did he know and when did he know it? Mr. Hastert has forfeited the confidence of the public and his party, and he cannot preside over the necessary coming investigation, an investigation that must examine his own inept performance."
