The Iraqi Hoaxes just keep on coming

The News media continues the fakery (in some respects) of key elements of the Iraq war. Nonetheless it is still "Mess-o-patamia" (as I saw on a Daily Show clip).

He said: "Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the LORD says to you: 'Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God's. ... You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the LORD will give you, O Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the LORD will be with you.'"

like maybe.... Shopmas... Chicago celebrations Shopmas... or Consumerismmas.... or BahHumbugismmas.

Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God and receive from him anything we ask, because we obey his commands and do what pleases him.

Senator Brownback to run in 08?

Great! But he calls for ties with Iran? Brownback has been a consistent critic of the Theocrats in Iran.. What's Up Sam?

Sen. Sam Brownback of Kansas strongly hinted yesterday that he would run for president in 2008, saying the Republican field was open for a "full-scale conservative" and that he would make an official announcement soon. During an appearance on ABC's "This Week," the Republican outlined what he called a "compassionate conservative" agenda, including a willingness to open diplomatic ties with Iran and Syria.

Here's MORE about the ISG wanting us to "talk" with Iran... (the leading terror regime in the world).
Those who throw stones...

Looks like a real industry over there in the West Bank, with stone chuckers, stone size analyzers, and large piles of stones available for quick access. Sheesh!

Britain and Russia strained over Putin's authoritarianism

A British Cabinet minister yesterday accused Russian President Vladimir Putin of "attacks on individual liberty and on democracy" as relations between Britain and Russia grew increasingly strained in the wake of the fatal poisoning of a former KGB agent who became a British citizen.

The Old School Tyrant

that is Vladimir Putin. Thought it would be a good time to break this dusty work out of the closet and show you who Putin truly is.

But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.

Titus 3:4-7 (NIV)

Last photo of Prairie Hollow Gorge that I will post. Just a very scenic place to visit. Highly recommended that you do.

Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is -- his good, pleasing and perfect will.

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

Gateway Pundit points out the absurdity of the "Death to America, Death to Israel" crowd complaining to the UN (of all places....) about being threatened by the "Little Satan". Miserable wretched regime (that being the IROI).

For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the measure of faith God has given you. Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.

Romans 12:3-5 (NIV)

Church of England declares Infanticide "Humane"

"The Church of England has broken with tradition dogma by calling for doctors to be allowed to let sick newborn babies die. Christians have long argued that life should preserved at all costs - but a bishop representing the national church has now sparked controversy by arguing that there are occasions when it is compassionate to leave a severely disabled child to die."

Life has no meaning for the Church of England. To leave sick children to die is to lose one's soul. God forbid we do such atrocities. We fight for each life. What a selfish idea....

Monday, November 13, 2006

My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defense -- Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.

Christians fleeing Bethlehem

I delight greatly in the LORD; my soul rejoices in my God. For he has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

Iranian regime thankful for the Dem victory

Khamenei says so..... ""As Iran has always been the target of Washington’s hostile and war-mongering policies, this defeat is a victory for the Iranian nation at the current political juncture,"

and he's probably even more thankful for a Gates appointment and a Baker commission... Ready to start "working" with the theocrats? Funny how Dems are only against the so called "theocrats" in this country.... but real Theocrats are another story.

And it looks like it's not only the Theocrats who are thankful.

Last night I don't think I was the only Missourian to stay up past 100 AM watching the ever so slow returns.... return. I also probably wasn't alone in immediately returning to bed upon the clock striking 1:00.

Jim Talent is a bright, honorable, and motivated fellow and I hope we haven't heard the last of him. I know we haven't. I know he clerked in the past, might a judicial appointment in the future be in the cards?

The moral that emerges... don't put your trust in people, but put your trust in God. The Republican party needs to reemerge from this with a new sense of direction, or else it will be a long time in the basement.
Let's hope this isn't the scene in Washington for the next 2 years....

EU Report and Turkey

"Diplomats anticipate a stinging European Union report on Turkey's membership qualifications tomorrow, setting the stage for a confrontation between Ankara and the West.

Turkish and EU analysts fear the rebuff could push Turkey away from its avowed objective of joining Europe and into the arms of its Arab and Muslim neighbors."

The truth cannot be hidden.
What does this mean?

From the "Iran-Daily" rag... Tell me what this means and you win a prize... because I'm at a loss. Guess they're blaming the Jews for the bird flu?? Anti-Semitism knows no rationality I guess.. shouldn't expect such a cartoon to make sense.

But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.

Iraqi Christians need asylum

"Soaring violence against Christians in Iraq – including the alleged crucifixion of a teenage boy in Basra - has prompted the Catholic Church to call for a safe haven to protect minority groups as the country slides toward civil war.

The American Catholic bishops have also asked US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice to grant asylum to hundreds of thousands of Iraqi Christians who have fled their homes to escape persecution."

Hey Democrats... What's Your Plan?

"President Bush yesterday said Republicans nationwide are running on a strong record of accomplishment as he ridiculed Democrats seeking to take control of the House and Senate, asking: "What's your plan?"

Well I know what Jimmy Carter's Plan is/was/forever will be.... Happy times of non-verification with Supreme Leaders...

Remember the Dean of Dems Jimmy Carter?

Remember him... when you vote on Tuesday. I think Claire McCaskill might have been a fan or something...
