"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this," says the LORD Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it."

Malachi 3:10 (NIV)
Fence in winter at Blue Spring natural area.
Should environmentalists limit the public's access to its own Parks?

That's the case facing Yosemite National Park...

"Efforts to safeguard the Merced have spawned a court battle over the future of development in Yosemite National Park's most popular stretch. The case may come down to the challenge facing all of America's parks: Should they remain open to everyone, or should access be limited in the interest of protecting them?

In November, a federal judge barred crews from finishing $60 million in construction projects in Yosemite Valley, siding with a small group of environmentalists who sued the federal government, saying further commercial development would bring greater numbers of visitors, thus threatening the Merced's fragile ecosystem."

The Useful Idiots that are the Washington Democrats

"As President Bush works to find strategies for victory in Iraq and dealing with the Iranian threat, the Democratic Party seems determined to send every possible signal to our enemies that they have nothing to worry about when it comes to the projection of American power in wartime."

Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD.

Psalm 150:6 (NIV)
John Kerry bashes US via the Official Mullahcratic News rag

Via Davos, Switzerland

"Sen. John Kerry, Massachusetts Democrat, slammed the foreign policy of the Bush administration yesterday, saying it has caused the United States to become "a sort of international pariah."

Check out the cover of today's "Iran-Daily" rag...the state newspaper of the Islamic Republic of Iran... REMEMBER.. this is the IRNA newspaper.. so it's not the place you want to be featured

Notice who's featured prominently on the cover?

Why it would be Msr. Kerry himself and... Mrs. Sunshine... Nancy Pelosi (minus headscarf?).
Ahhh... the patriotic ferver it brings.

John Kerry gives autograph to Mullah Khatami?

What's up with this photo? Khatami looks like a doe-eyed school girl having just met some sort of Boy-band character. Guess what happens in Davos, Switzerland... stays in Davos.

For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for him.

Bandar and Laranjani... so chummy...
Chavez to deport our Ambassador?

"President Hugo Chavez is threatening to deport the U.S. ambassador if he continues "meddling in Venezuela's affairs."

The outspoken leader lashed out after William Brownfield said U.S. companies and investors must receive a fair price for their shares of Venezuela's largest telephone company when Mr. Chavez's government nationalizes it."

For shame, comrade.. can't we come to an agreement?

When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus.

Iraq beginning to step up?

"Iraq's government has begun to deliver on commitments it made to complement President Bush's plan for a new infusion of U.S. troops, but the results may not be fully felt in Baghdad for more than six months, the top U.S. commander said yesterday."

Hope is the wellspring of life, but let's hope the Maliki government steps up.
Piedmont mayor to retire

"Ready to Slow Down Mayor Gaylon Watson, pictured above with his dogs Gracie and Bandit, will not seek re-election. Watson plans to devote his time to re-establishing his real estate business, fishing more, resting more, playing golf more, loving his family more, loving God more, and working less."

I give him credit. One of the major initiatives in the city was the revetment of McKenzie Creek. It included bank stabilization, creek cleanup, property buyout=park conversion, and a very nice walking trail. Good job Mayor Watson.

"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you."

Matthew 7:7 (NIV)
Republicans not happy about Bush's choice for GOP Chair

"Rebellion is brewing among conservatives on the Republican National Committee over President's Bush's attempt to "impose" Sen. Mel Martinez of Florida as "general chairman" of the party, who favors "amnesty" for illegal aliens.

"I will be voting against Senator Martinez if he is nominated for any chairmanship of the RNC," Tina Benkiser, Texas Republican Party chairman, told The Washington Times yesterday."

Seems like to me, President Bush should have nominated someone who would actually be a fulltime Chair.

Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?"

Iran is being invaded... by little Green Men?

Looks like someone from Mars is attempting to sabotage the nuke program over in Farsland. Mullahs, maybe it's just out of your hands now? Better develop a space program and declare jihad upon the Martian infidels!

Hillary breaks out the lockbox for Maliki

Either the kiss of death or the testicle lock box, she brings it to Iraq. Either way, it can't be comfortable!

Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.

Barney Frank accuses Bush admin of genocide

Regarding Hurricane Katrina. Put on the aluminum foil hat Barn... because the black helicopters are coming for you. Actually... say it louder and prouder, don't do it at some underground event. Come out of the closet (too late...) with your presumptions.

"Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash."

Matthew 7:24-27 (NIV)

Holy cow! Look at this Economy... abysmal

"The job market was the brightest spot in the economy at the end of last year, with wage gains hitting a six-year high of 4.2 percent and employers creating another 167,000 jobs, the Labor Department reported yesterday."

Worst since Herbert Hoover, probably even worse than that! Aghast...
Brownback to enter the '08 Race

"He will be fully announcing on January 20 in Topeka, Kansas," Brian Hart, the senator's spokesman, said Friday. The move was expected even though Brownback set up an exploratory committee in December to gauge whether he had enough support for a full-blown campaign.
After the announcement in Kansas, Hart said Brownback will fly to Washington to participate in the anti-abortion march marking the anniversary of the Supreme Court ruling."

Go Sam Go... however don't neglect your very VITAL duties in the Senate. You are one Crying in the Wilderness there. (In other words... please don't quit your day job).

If there is a poor man among your brothers in any of the towns of the land that the LORD your God is giving you, do not be hardhearted or tightfisted toward your poor brother. Rather be openhanded and freely lend him whatever he needs.

Deuteronomy 15:7-8 (NIV)

Here's what the summit of Clark Mountain looks like, on the other side of the boulders is an old quarry.
We are a bunch of dhimmis!

While Christians in Iran are arrested for practicing their faith, Christians in Saudi Arabia... well what Christians? I could go on and on and on...

our government coddles an Islamist organ CAIR by publishing their press releases verbatim... and making sure that all our flights are "hajj friendly"... interesting in that our sensitivity/tolerance is utilized to PREVENT anyone other than muslims from visiting Mecca/Medina.

We are fools sometimes (Bush administration), wonder if I could get Jewish/Christian friendly food on Saudi airlines? Think I could wear a cross in public in say Riyadh? Nahh...

God be with us.
Pray for persecuted Christian Iranians

The house church movement in Iran is being attacked by the Iranian regime. 10-15 Christians remain imprisoned.
