God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him. In this way, love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment, because in this world we are like him.

1 John 4:16b-17 (NIV)

Here's a snowy Clark Mountain from December 16. This is a view from the west. As you can see it dominates the local scenery here. It is truly a mini-mountain (especially by Missouri standards).
They're taking the whole enforced Hejab a little too far

Or is this just a cross dresser? Ooops... he has hair showing, good way to draw attention from the Iranian regime's basiij (religious police)...
Ahmadinejad and Putin dance to the Music... dance to the music...

Dennis Prager ask's the question about Tibet and the Palestinians...

1) Can the Chinese be oppressors or is it only Europeans who oppress?

2) Why does elite opinion of the world continue to treat non-Europeans as children?

Watch out for the incoming fire.... ! Oh wait a minute, how sweet... Guess the Clintons are once again defining down what the meaning of "is" is. Guess it doesn't really matter that she didn't face fire upon landing, it sounded good right? And that's what matters. What a bunch of LIARS... duh right. Hey Clintons... Go AWAY...

Gateway Pundit uncovers it here, Michelle Malkin has more, Hot Air's covering it

For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.

View of Clark's Mountain summit. There are two large antennaes at the top. It's 950' down to Piedmont from up here.

And it is something our country direly needs now. Wish Barack Obama's pastor would quote Lincoln more and divide less... Remember... "A House divided against itself...."

Turbulent McKenzie Creek as it cuts through Lon Sanders Canyon. Usually you'd see massive boulders scattered through this shut-in.
Strong current?
Rushing McKenzie Creek - Lon Sanders Canyon
Note the out of control McKenzie Creek as it flows through Lon Sanders Canyon. We had 7 inches of rain today and it flooded downtown Piedmont. Typically you can easily walk through the trail on the left side of the photo.
Here's an unnamed creek flowing by the Clark's Mountain golf course. Piedmont was under water today. McKenzie creek went nuts.
Here's an angry little creek near our place.
Rushing Fisher Creek as it crosses my trail. This would be cool to take a GI Joe figure in a mini kayak : )
Angry Fisher Creek... after 7 inches of rain
Lots & Lots of water in the Piedmont area over the past 24 hours... 7 inches... this is Fisher Creek, one of our dogs Quinzhee isn't used to so much water
